TROUBLESHOOTING
Use the inspections in the table below if the tool does not operate normally. If this does not remedy the problem, consult your
dealer or the HiKOKI Authorized Service Center.
Symptom
Tool doesn't run
Tool suddenly stopped
Abnormal noise.
Grinding wheel shakes
The battery remaining
power on the machine
does not match to Multi volt
battery.
Possible cause
No remaining battery power
Battery isn't fully installed.
Foreign matter is keeping the push button
pressed down.
The battery is installed while the switch is
turned ON.
Tool was overburdened
Overload protection is in operation.
The battery is overheated.
Wheel nut is loose.
The wheel nut, wheel washer, grinding
wheel, etc. are improperly installed facing
the wrong direction.
Foreign matter is caught between the wheel
nut, wheel washer, grinding wheel, etc.

Charge the battery.
Push the battery in until you hear a click.
Remove the foreign matter from the push
button.
Turn the switch OFF and then ON again.
Get rid of the problem causing the
overburden.
Let the battery cool down.
Fully tighten the wheel nut.
Check the installed direction and correctly
install the parts.
Remove the foreign matter.
Refer to the indicator lamp on the battery.
