Due to the different influences on the wireless transmission, no specific range can be guaranteed.
However, trouble-free operation is usually possible in a single family house.
Sometimes the range can be considerably reduced due to:
• Walls, reinforced concrete ceilings, metal-framed drywalls
• Coated/metallised insulated glass
• Proximity to metal & conducting objects (e.g., radiators)
• Proximity to human bodies
• Other devices on the same frequency (e.g. wireless headphones, wireless speakers)
• Proximity to electric motors/appliances, transformers, power supplies, computers

16. Maintenance and cleaning

Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as
these could damage the casing or cause the product to malfunction.
• Apart from the occasional battery change, the product is maintenance-free for you. Repair
or maintenance work must only be carried out by an expert or a qualified shop. There are no
product components which have to be maintained. For this reason, never open it (except for
inserting/changing the batteries, as described in these operating instructions).
• Use a dry, soft and clean cloth to clean the weather station. Do not press too hard on the
display, this may cause scratch marks or the display to malfunction; furthermore, the display
might break.
• Dust can be easily removed using a soft and clean long-haired brush.
• You may use a cloth slightly dampened with clean water to clean the outdoor sensor.
