c) Weather station

• Remove the battery compartment cover (4) from the back.
• Insert 2 AAA batteries, observing correct polarity. Observe polarity as indicated inside the
battery compartment. The weather station beeps once and the software version is briefly
displayed before all display elements appear briefly.
• Close the battery compartment.
You can also supply the weather station with the included power adapter.
First connect the hollow plug with the power supply connector (10). Connect the mains
plug to a standard mains socket.
Even if you already have batteries are inserted, the weather station is still supplied
with power via the power adapter; the batteries are saved.
Connect the power adapter to the weather station before replacing the batteries.
Otherwise all your settings will be deleted.

10. Positioning

a) External sensor

• Install the outdoor sensor in an area that is in shadow all day long,
such as on a wall facing north. Direct sunlight and heat dissipation from
objects will falsify temperature measurements.
• Install the outdoor sensor in an upright position.
• You can hang the outdoor sensor using the included screw.
• You can also hang the outdoor sensor using the included cable tie
(see illustration).

b) Weather station

• Place the weather station on a level, stable surface.
• You can also hang the weather station using the included screw.
