Removing Lime Buildup
If you live in an area with hard water, lime scale
can form on internal components of the washer.
Use of a water softener is recommended in areas
with hard water. If a descaler is used, make sure
that it is suitable for use in a washer, and run the
TUB CLEAN cycle before washing clothing.
Lime scale and other spots may be removed
from the stainless steel drum using a stainless
steel cleaner. Do NOT use steel wool or abrasive
cleansers; they can damage the surface.
Notice of tub clean activation
To clean up the tub, please select the tub clean
course. Please empty the tub and insert bleach
into the detergent dispenser and push the tub
clean button.
If you see the
shown when you push the
power button and turn it on, it indicates a point of
time to clean tub, therefore operate TUB CLEAN
by pushing the TUB CLEAN button.
If you want to skip the TUB CLEAN, turn the
CYCLE SELECTOR KNOB or push option buttons
to select desired cycle. In this case, you would
see the message again until few washing times
and it would be disappear until next point of time
to clean the tub. Normally you would see the
around every 30 times of usage of a
washing machine.
Door open recommended
It is recommended that you should leave the door
open after getting finished with laundry to keep
the tub clean.
