hair around the base of the
neck, the sides of the neck and
the ears.
- To make the sideburns
straight, turn the appliance
over to use the upper blades
(Fig 5). Move the appliance
adapting it the physiognomy
of the head. To achieve more
precise results use a shaver.
THINNING OUT FUNCTION:
- The appliance includes a thin-
ning out function, which redu-
ces the volume of hair. Select
this function to use or hide the
thinning out comb (Fig. 6)
ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED
USING THE APPLIANCE:
- Turn the appliance off, using
the on/off switch.
- Clean the appliance.
CLEANING
- Disconnect the appliance
from the mains and allow it to
cool before undertaking any
cleaning task.
- Disassemble the appliance in
accordance with the following
steps:
- Hide the thinning out comb by
using the thinning out comb
switch (H)
- Hold the appliance with one
hand and use the thumb to
press the blades while holding
the plastic part with the index
finger until the blades come
out (Fig. 7).
- Use the cleaning brush (L) to
remove the hair from inside the
appliance and the blades.
- Clean the equipment with a
damp cloth with a few drops of
washing-up liquid and then dry.
- Do not use solvents, or pro-
ducts with an acid or base pH
such as bleach, or abrasive
products, for cleaning the
appliance.
- Never submerge the appliance
in water or any other liquid or
place it under running water.
- During the cleaning process,
take special care with the bla-
des, as they are very sharp.
HOW TO REMOVE THE BAT-
TERIES FROM THE INTERIOR
OF THE DEVICE
- The battery must be removed
from the appliance before it is
scraped
- Caution: It is important that the
batteries are fully dis-charged
prior to its withdrawal from the
apparatus.
- The appliance must be discon-
nected from the supply mains
when removing the battery.
