5.4. Inlet lines

110 mm and 4 nozzles DN 50 with an outer diameter of 52 mm available for the connec-
tion of the inlet line.

All nozzles are closed. After specifying the connections to be used, they must be opened

• Pipelines must be laid constantly descending toward the lifting unit. Pipelines must
be able to run empty on its own.
•
• All line connections on sewage lifting units must be designed in a sound-insulated
coupling must have a distance of at least 20 mm.
• The weight of the lines has to be absorbed by means of pipe clamps and/or consoles
on the part of the building site.
• Tubular shaped bandages have to be carefully tightened.
When using the minimum inlet height of 180 mm, it has to be observed with the DN
with waste waters prior to switching on the pump. This can lead to the fact that dirt
deposits in the inlet line cannot be excluded.
A drainage object which is connected there must have its inlet at least 250 mm
above the set-up level of the lifting unit!
