2. ATTACHING/REMOVING THE MEMORY CARD

The illustrations on this page show examples of a notebook PC in use.
Please also refer to the instruction manual of your PC for details.
Attaching the Memory Card

Hold the Memory Card with the label
side up and insert it into the slot on
the PC card adapter.

Insert the PC card adapter into the PC
card slot of a PC or similar equipment.
NOTE:
If a PC card adapter without a Memory Card is inserted in a
PC, the PC will not recognize the PC card adapter.
Removing the Memory Card

Take the PC card adapter out of your
PC.

Push the eject button on the PC card
adapter and pull out the Memory Card.
NOTE (for Windows
Do not insert or eject the Memory Card into or from the PC card
while it is inserted in your PC.
When removing a PC card adapter from a PC, be sure to open
the PC card (PCMCIA) properly. Terminate operation or halt the
use of the PC card and wait until the message "You may safely
remove this device." before actually removing the PC card.
