Protective housing:
By loosening the adjustable screw, the protective cover can be moved vertically. The protective cover must be moved till the top for tool changes. When
punching however, the protective cover must be placed as far down as possible.
7. Maintenance, repair and service
Use only original parts from häwa GmbH for replacement or exchange.
Maintenance
•
When the machine functions under high working loads, it must be greased on a weekly basis.
•
Cutting gap adjustment and checking required at regular intervals (see point 5.8)
•
Regular cleaning intervals as well as greasing or oiling of moving parts is recommended.
•
Weekly visual and functional control of the machine advisable.
•
Used oily rags and hydraulic oil must be disposed of as hazardous waste.
Repairs
Precision machinery repairs are problematic since features and accuracy can be influenced or damaged in the process.
•
Only perform minor repairs yourself.
•
Acquire information and support from häwa.
•
Precision parts, drive components and electronic control repairs to be done through the service station.
häwa will not be held liable for any damages due to faulty repair or the costs from such damages, resulting from repairs by an unauthorised entity

* On releasing the left foot switch in automatic mode, the piston rod will return to its original position.
The return-time period can be adjusted with the time relay control.
Punching with laser:
Positioning of the center can be determined by the laser guide.
