WEIGHT UNIT SELECToR KG/LB/ST
The appliance is equipped with a weight unit se-
lector. Select the corresponding position base don
the units that you wish to use. To do this, press the
selector button (E), the units of measurement will
appear on the screen, one after the other.
AppliAnCE FunCtions:
The scales have the following diagnostic functions
that can be used by up to 12 people.
Body weight measurement.
Calculated body fat percentage
Body water percentage
Muscle mass percentage
Bone mass
Basal and active metabolic rate

Place your foot gently on the surface of the sca-
les to switch it on and wait until the "0,0" symbol
appears on the screen.

triCAl iMpEDAnCE AnAlysis)
These scales calculate body proportions by a com-
pletely harmless, safe and unnoticeable electrical
discharge. With this measurement of electrical resis-
tance (impedance) plus the calculation of constants
and individual values (age, height, sex, degree of
activity) it is possible to determine the proportion of
body fat and other body factors.
The values determined by the diagnostic scales only
represent an approximation of the body's actual me-
dical analysis values, which only a medical specia-
list can determine by means of medical tests.
GENERAL TIPS
To achieve comparable results, always try to weigh
yourself at the same time (preferably in the mor-
ning) after having been to the toilet, before eating
and without clothes.
The body fat reading can only be carried out bare-
foot, preferably with slightly damp soles. Comple-
tely dry soles or those with a lot of hard skin may
produce poor results as conductivity will be limited.
Stand up straight and remain still during the wei-
ghing process
Wait a few hours after having done any physically
demanding activity.
Wait approximately 15 minutes after getting up to
allow body water to distribute itself.
only consider the long-term trend.
LIMITATIoNS
Conflicting and/or inaccurate body fat readings and
other values may occur with:
Children younger than about 10
Competitive athletes and bodybuilders
Pregnant women
Those with fever, receiving dialysis, with symp-
toms of oedema or osteoporosis
Those undergoing cardiovascular treatment
Those taking vasoconstrictor or vasodilator medi-
cation,
Those with large anatomical differences in the legs
in relation to their height (legs too short or long).
