Mounting the side grip
The auxiliary handle will provide additional control,
support and guidance for the drill.

Loosen the side grip (9).
n
Slide the holder of the side grip over the
drill chuck on the machine.
n
Turn the side grip in de required position
and tighten it firmly.
Mounting the depth stop
The depth stop is used to limit the maximum
drilling depth.
n
Loosen the side grip (9).
n
Insert the depth stop (8) in the hole in the
holder of the side grip.
n
Adjust the depth stop to the requireddrilling depth.
n
Tighten the side grip firmly.
Selecting the operating mode
Select the required operating mode before
use (drilling or hammer drilling).
n
For drilling in wood, metal, plastics and
soft stone, slide the switch (5) to the left.
n
For drilling in concrete or hard stone,
slide the switch (5) to the right.
Always wait until the motor
has come to a complete
standstill before changing
the operating mode.
Forward/reverse switch
n
Push the forward/reverse switch (4) to the
left to drill holes and fasten screws.
n

Adjusting the speed
This machine has been fitted with an
adjusting wheel (2) for the maximum speed.
n
Turn the adjusting wheel (2) as indicated
on switch (1) to set the maximum speed.
Switching on and off
n
To switch the machine on, press the on/
off switch (1). The further you press the
switch, the higher the speed of the machine.
n
To switch off the machine, release the on/
off switch (1).
n
To switch the machine to continuous mode,
keep the on/off switch (1) pressed and at
the same time press the lock-on button (3).
Subsequently release the on/off switch.
n
To switch off continuous mode, press the
on/off switch (1) again.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Attention! Before

§ Only qualified specialist personnel and original

Cleaning
§ Regularly clean the machine housing with a soft
cloth, preferably after each use. Keep the
ventilation slots free from dust and dirt. If the dirt
does not come off use a soft cloth
moistened with soapy water. Never use solvents
such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water,
etc. These solvents may damage the plastic parts.
Lubrication
The machine requires no additional lubrication.
Checking and replacing the carbon brushes
The carbon brushes must be checked on a regular
basis.

Remove the carbon brush holders and clean the
carbon brushes.
_
In case of wear, replace both carbon brushes at
the same time.
_
Mount the carbon brush holders.
_
After mounting new carbon brushes, let
the machine run at no load for 15 minutes.
