1 What is an ISDN telephone adapter?
With the ISDN telephone adapter you can use the cablecom digital phone Service

with ISDN telephones or an ISDN house installation, by connecting the ISDN

telephone adapter in series between the cable modem and the ISDN telephone.

For each line you order, you will be assigned a separate telephone number. As

before, you can connect your analog telephones or faxes to the cable modem and
will not require the ISDN telephone adapter for them.

You can power up to four ISDN cord phones via the ISDN telephone adapter. It

is however not possible to connect an ISDN modem to the Internet via the ISDN

telephone adapter. Internet access is only possible via cablecom hispeed Internet.
ISDN faxes are not supported.
You will pay a contractually defined monthly charge to lease the ISDN telephone
adapter. You can however cancel your ISDN telephone adapter contract
at any time, allowing for a 3 month period of notice, by calling 0848 66 0848
(Mo-Fr 8.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.) or by visiting www.cablecom.ch/
The multiple subscriber number (MSN) on your ISDN telephone must be
set to 1 or 2 before you can use the cablecom digital phone Service. You
will find the instructions in this manual.
