Assembly of guard bow
Guide the bracket axle (1) through the hole and secure the bracket axle with
the washer (2) and the locking washer (3).
Insert the locking washer by hand into the corresponding groove in the
bracket axis.
4.6
Assembly of guide plate
Mount the guide blade [6] into the corresponding holes on the gear box
housing using the enclosed hexagon socket head screws (1).
The guide blade serves to stabilize the saw blade during the sawing process
and to distribute the water.
Make sure that the rubber grommet (2) on the gearbox housing matches the
opening for the water supply in the guide blade.
The guide plate must be installed in such a way that the grommet (2) on the
transmission housing matches the bore for the water supply in the guide blade. If the
guide blade is not properly mounted, the saw blade can be insufficiently supplied with
water. If the saw blade is not cooled, personal injury and property damage may occur.
4.7
Assembly of drive wheel
Clean the entire area of the sealing washer (2) from dirt and
deposits.
Insert the V-ring (1) into the sealing washer (2). Make sure that
the sealing lip of the V-ring points towards the drive wheel. Do
not use oil or grease for this, otherwise there is a risk that the
V-ring will also rotate during operation.
Apply grease to the sealing lip of the V-ring and the inside of the
drive wheel (A) so that the sealing lip of the V-ring is lubricated
during operation.
Insert the drive wheel [20] onto the driving spindle of the ring saw. Make sure that the inner contour
of the recess on the drive wheel matches the outer contour on the spindle.
Secure the drive wheel by screwing the hexagon head screw [19] counterclockwise. Tighten the
hexagon head screw firmly, using the combination spanner and face spanner (see scope of delivery).
Hexagon head screw is provided with a left-hand thread!
4.8
Assembly of saw blade
Check the saw blade for damage before installation. Damaged saw blades can lead to
personal injury.
If the saw blade is worn out (diamond segments worn out), the saw blade must be
replaced. It is not permitted to provide the used saw blade with new diamond segments
(new tipping). If the used saw blade is equipped with new segments, personal injury
and property damage may result.
Handle saw blades with care. If individual segments are missing, or if the blade is
poorly tensioned, if it has a concentricity error or stroke, dangerous unbalances can
occur which could damage the saw and endanger the operator. Our sales partners are
specialists for these tools. Please have a thorough consultation before choosing a saw
blade.
Loosen the adjusting knobs [10] so that the spring tension is completely loosened.
Unscrew the hexagon head screw [14] and turn the T-handle [15] clockwise as far as it will go (away
from the saw).
