24. Never open the casing of the appliance. There is danger of elec-
tric shock.
25. Check the appliance, the wall socket and the lead cable regularly
for wear or damage. In case the lead cable or other parts appear
damaged, please send the appliance or the base to our after
sales service for inspection and repair. Unauthorised repairs can
constitute serious risks for the user and void the warranty.
26. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the man-
ufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in
order to avoid a hazard.
Never reach into the appliance while it is in operation - danger
of injury! Keep hair, articles of clothing, other tools, etc. away
from the appliance, as long as the plug is in the electrical outlet.
Never touch the cone directly with your hands when the plug is
plugged into the electrical outlet.
Never open the casing of the appliance. There is danger of
electric shock.
The manufacturer will not be liable in the event of incorrect assembly, improper or incorrect use or if
repairs are carried out by unauthorized third parties.
BEFORE FIRST USE
1.
Remove all packaging materials and any transport safety devices. Keep
packaging materials away from children - danger of suffocation!
2.
Clean all parts with a damp cloth, as described in the chapter "Cleaning
and care".
3.
Connect the base to the mains supply by means of the lead cable (220–
240 V~, 50 Hz).
4.
Check if the appliance is placed firmly.
PREPARING JUICE
Note: Maximum short operating time is 5 minutes. Thereafter allow the appliance to
first cool down for several minutes, before making more juice.
1.
Prepare the desired citrus fruit, by washing it and halving it.
2.
The lid only protects against dust and must be removed for operation.
3.
Wrap the excess length of the power cord around the cable storage element
on the underside of the appliance.
4.
Insert the collection container with spout into the appliance. The spout on
the collection container must be in the corresponding recess on the motor
block.
