DOFFING THE FACE MASK

Switch off the positive pressure.

Open the buckles to release the head harness and loosen the straps.

Remove the face mask.

Close the cylinder valve and depressurize the unit by activating the positive

DISCONNECT THE BREATHING VALVE

Loosen the hand screw on the external speech cone. Pull out the hand screw and

move the external speech cone upwards to release the breathing valve.
Pull out the breathing valve from the face mask.

Disconnect the breathing valve from the breathing hose.

OPTIONAL BYPASS

The by-pass valve overrides the normal breathing valve function allowing air to free
flow into the mask. To open the bypass turn the red knob anti-clockwise, close by
turning clockwise until stop.
ATTENTION! WHEN THE BYPASS IS OPEN THE DURATION TIME OF THE BREATHING APPARATUS IS REDUCED. WHEN THE
BYPASS HAS BEEN ACTIVATED THE WEARER SHOULD ABORT OPERATION AND RETURN TO AN AREA OF BREATHABLE AIR.

CLEAN AND DISINFECT

Clean and disinfect as necessary after use.
FACE MASK
Disconnect the breathing valve from the face mask.

Wash the face mask manually in warm cleaning fluid (maximum 55° C).

Rinse the parts in clean water.
3.
Disinfect the face mask and the exhalation valve assembly. Follow the instructions

supplied with the disinfectant.

Shake the mask to remove excess water and dry the mask and the exhalation
