Mounting instructions
S Handle the transducer carefully.
S The transducer seating must be horizontal, even and, together with the
transducer mounting surface, it must be absolutely clean.
S Dust, dirt and other foreign matter must not be allowed to collect so that the
deflection of the transducer is impaired, leading to possible erroneous mea
surements.
S Do not overload the transducers (e.g. by unevenly distributed loads); if nec
essary, provide overload protection (e.g. supports).
S Each transducer should be shunted by a stranded copper cable (approx.
2
16 mm
) during or immediately after installation, in order to prevent any
welding or lightning currents flowing through the transducer.
