1. TECHNICAL DATA

2. ACCESSORIES PROVIDED
VARMA TOP IRK is supplied with: 1.5 m electric cable, Protection grid in stainless steel, Bracket for wall installation
and under parasols.
3. WALL INSTALLATION
The appliance must not be placed immediately below a mains socket. Install the heater on wall at a distance of (see drawing
3 page32)
- 30 cm minimum from the ceiling
- 100 cm from the side walls
- The installation height ranges from to 190 cm to 220 cm.
Wall-mounting is the ideal solution to achieve the best results in terms of heat, with the heater at an angle of 45° and
perfectly horizontal.
4. INSTALLATION UNDER A PARASOL
For fixing the appliance under parasol only use the supplied accessory (see page30)
1. Do not close the parasol until the heater has been switched off and has cooled down .
2. If the heater is removed from the parasol, use a water tight plug for the connection.
3. If the heater is left on the parasol, make sure that it is mounted so that the heater's shield cannot come
into contact with the canvas of the parasol; this will avoid damage.
5.POSITIONING**
1. Aim the VARMA TOP IRK reflector in the direction required for the wall-mounted installation. The normal angle is 45°
to the orizontal plane.
2. Never install VARMA TOP IRK on an inflammable surface or facing an inflammable surface.
3. VARMA TOP IRK must be placed at a clear distance (line of vision) of not less than 2.0 metres from objects such as
cardboard, fabrics etc and windows. If used in workshops and garages where there are inflammable paints or fuels,
VARMA TOP IRK must be located more than 4.0 metres from the hazard.
4. We recommend that the heater should not be used in non-ventilated, dusty environments to avoid damage to the
bulb.
5. When mounting inside a bathroom, always respect the minimum distances from showers and baths, and ensure
compliance with CEE-CEI.
6. Furthermore, the commands to adjust the appliance and turn it on and off must not be within reach of the shower or
bath.
6. MAINTENANCE AND REPLACEMENT OF BULB
(TO BE PERFORMED BY QUALIFIED STAFF OR SPECIALIZED TECHNICIAN)
The replacement bulb must be the same the one supplied with the equipment. Use only bulbs INFRACALOR Star
Progetti.
Replacement of the bulb must only be carried out by the manufacturer or the help service or a specialised technician. To
keep your VARMA TOP IRK in perfect condition, occasionally dust the dish and the bulb with a brush or compressed air.
