3.2 OPERATION
When first used, lubricate the blades by applying a drop of oil to the points shown
(Fig. 4b).
Switching on/off
◼ Switch the clippers on by setting the On/Off button (Fig. 1-B) to "ON". The indicator light
(Fig. 1-C) flashes.
◼ To switch the clippers off, set the On/Off button (Fig. 1-B) to "OFF". The indicator light
(Fig. 1-C) goes out.
Use with or without electrical lead
◼ With a new, fully charged battery, the clippers can be used without the power lead for
about 210 minutes.
The red indicator light rouge (Fig. 1-D) flashes before the end of the period of autonomy.
Charge the battery, refer to § 3.1.
◼ The clippers can be used with the electrical lead. In this configuration, connect the
cable to the clippers (Fig. 2a) and connect the power pack (Fig. 1-M) to a mains power
socket.
3.3 ADJUSTING THE CUTTING HEIGHT
Move the knurled knob (Fig. 1F / Fig. 3) to select a cutting height: 0.8 – 1.2
– 1.6 – 2.0 mm.
3.4 USING THE COMB ATTACHMENTS
◼ The clippers must be switched off. Select a comb attachment: 3, 6, 9 or 12 mm (Fig. 1
refs. I – J – K - L).
◼ Place the comb attachment on the blades (Fig. 4) and clip it on. When the comb
attachment is correctly fixed, it is immobilized.
◼ To remove the comb attachment, free its clip by pressing on its rear part it with your
thumb.
3.5 LUBRICATING THE BLADES
After 30 minutes of use, it is recommended to lubricate the blades.
◼ Stop the clippers and place the sliding knob in the 2.0 mm position (Fig. 3).
◼ Removing blades: hold the blades with your thumb and press on the spot shown by the
arrow (Fig. 5a).
◼ Apply 1 drop of lubricating oil on the points shown (Fig. 5b).
Use only the oil supplied.
