The cover fits over the plate: take
care not to pinch the cables during
the closing operation. Then screw
the fixing screws on either side: 2
for the single unit and 4 for the dual
unit.
The knob of the potentiometer is pushed
fully home on the end of its shaft. It
must be indexed on the “0” before
tightening the small hexagonal screw
(inside the knob) against the shaft.
The knob is then finished by fitting
the pointer over the access to the
screw.

6 - SPECIAL INSTALLATIONS

6 . 1 . Attached cabinets
The WPS split surface cabinet is
also used for the power supplies of
operating tables and to the ALM
zoom camera. It is thus possible to
form protruding
assemblies.
Note: This can also be done for triple
lighting systems.
When allocating wall space, take
care pay attention to the thickness
of the covers and the wall outlets
of the cables which are not all
disposed in the same way.
6 . 2 . Commercial cabinets
Certain installations can involve
specific cabinets.
It is for example possible to install
modules in HAGER cabinets to take
advantage of a hinged door. It will
however be necessary to make a
special base to allow the modules
to be attached from the inside of
the cabinet.
Three criteria are determinant :
- the volume must be at least equal
to those of the WPS cabinets.
- they must be made of metal in
order to stop electromagnetic
radiation.
- the surface and the thickness of
the base plate must be at least
equal to those of the WPS cabinets.
6 . 3 . Emergency test
It is possible to place a switch or a
push-button switch upstream of the
cabinet to test the switchover to
backup from the operating theatre.
Note: In the case of a switch it will also
be necessary
potentiometers to light the lighting
units and to switch the switch off
in order to switch
emergency.
