7.3 Thermoforming
After the heating time has elapsed there
will be an acoustic signal; the heating
time in the display will be 0:00. The
heating will be switched off automati-
cally. Pull the heating carrier (20) with
the right hand at the handle (5) com-
pletely out of the centre of the unit.
Then push the activation lever (34)
with the left hand downwards as far
as it will go.
By pulling the heating handle (5) again
for approx. 3 seconds as far as it will go
pressurising of the piston will be carried
out automatically. This is confirmed by
an acoustic signal.

For safety reasons the pressure
chamber can only be pressurised,
if it has been moved downwards
completely manually. Always make
sure that no objects are in the con-
tact area between piston and insert
bowl while the piston is closing! In
order to protect the operating per-
sonnel securely against bruises of
the fingers, pressurising can only
be effected, if the unit is operated
with two hands at the same time
(two-hand control).
The forming pressure will be verified
continuously and regulated, if neces-
sary. The display shows the duration
since turning off the heating (cooling
time). The maximum time that can be
shown is 9:55 min. Please refer to the
enclosed information folder in order to
find out the optimum cooling times for
the used Dreve thermoforming foil.
7.4 Opening of the pressure chamber
In order to attain a complete cool down
of the thermoforming blank the valve
at the tension ring (12) is to be opened
slightly after 2 / 3 of the adjusted cool-
ing time. Through this the warm air
inside the piston will be released and
replaced by cool air due to the auto-
matic pressure regulation. After the
cooling time has elapsed pull the heat-
ing handle (5) as far as it will go and
maintain it in this position (approx. 3 Swivel out the plate reception (11) at
