MAIN CHARACTERISTICS.
DN inlet port G 1 1/4" male ISO 228.
DN outlet port G 1 1/4" male ISO 228.
Power relays for the auxiliary pumps control.
Control and protection system against over-intensities.
Control and protection system against dry operation.
ART function (Automatic Reset Test). When the device is stopped by cause of lack of water, the ART system tries to start, with a
programmed periodicity.
EW function (Emergency Working). When the system detects a serious failure (over-intensity, etc) the EW function is activated:
excluding the affected pump, activating the FAILURE light, showing the failure type in the LCD screen, recalculating
parameters and permitting to continue working the group in the best possible conditions.
Automatic restore system after an interruption of power supply. System is activated in AUTOMATIC mode.
Volt-free contact for monitoring the alarms displayed in screen originated by irregularities or problems of the system.
Connections for detection of minimum water level in aspiration tank. This system is independent of the safety against dry
operation. Is optional.
Inside pressure transducer.

* The system has 16 A delayed fuses, for pumps of 2.2 kW. In case of pumps with another consumption, the suitable fuses should be
chosen.
HYDRAULIC CONNECTIONS
Before proceeding with hydraulic connection it is essential to install a non-return valve in every pump´s inlet.
To achieve an installation with the best possible efficiency, all the pumps should have the same characteristics.
MULTIMATIC control must be connected in vertical position (Fig.7), the inlet port ( 1 ¼" male) directly to the main pump discharge
and the outlet port ( 1 ¼" male) at the main network.
ELECTRIC CONNECTION
Use cords type H07RN-F with section enough to the power installed.

Check the power supply to be ~1 220/240V for Multimatic 2110/3110 and ~3 380/400 V or ~3 220/240 V for Multimatic
2309/3309. Dismount the cover 1 of the electronic circuit and carry out the connections according to the indications located
on the connection strip base
If power supply is ~3 220/240 V (only model 2309/3309) carry out the connections according to the indications of the
diagram (Fig. 3).
Do the power supply connection (being sure there is a good earth connection): L1 N

for Multimatic 2309/3309. Do the connection by mean of magnetothermic switch in OFF mode.
The earth conductor must be longer than the others. It will be the first one to to be mounted during the assembly and the
last one to to be disconnected during the dismantling.
Do the pump 1 connection : PUMP 1
Do the pump 2 connection : PUMP 2
Do the pump 3 connection : PUMP 3 ( only type 3110/3309)
Do the connection of auxiliary devices:
Alarm monitoring: MULTIMATIC has a volt-free contact with 1 A of maximum intensity for the transmission of diferent
types of signal (optical, acoustics, etc) when detects some failure that previously has been displayed in the LCD screen.
For its connection to see Fig. 5.
Min. level control: there is an input for the stopping of all the pumps as soon as is disconnected the external switch of
minimum level. For its connection to see Fig. 5.
WARNING!. Wrong connections could spoil the electronic circuit.
STARTUP
Be sure that every pump is correctly primed.
Connect the MULTIMATIC to the electric supply with the magnetothermic switch. Wait for 5 seconds while the MULTIMATIC is
doing the autotest. Once it finishes, screen will show "MULTIMATIC"and inmediately the state screen:

Go to MANUAL mode pressing the pusbutton AUTOMATIC ON/OFF (green led OFF). Verify the rotation sense of each pump
and if they are correctly primed using the pushbuttons START/STOP .
