1.3 Organizational measures
Keep this operating manual always nearby the device! Everyone who is involved in the assem-
bly, commissioning, maintenance and operation of the device must have read and understood
the complete operating manual. The type plate and warning notes mounted on the device have
to be imperatively followed and maintained completely legible.
1.4 Qualified staff
The staff for operation, maintenance and assembly must have corresponding qualification for
such tasks. The operating company must exactly assign the sphere of responsibility, compe-
tence and supervision of the staff. If the staff does not have the necessary knowledge it is ne-
cessary to train and instruct them. Furthermore, the operating company has to make sure that
the staff has completely understood the contents of the operating manual.
1.5 Maintenance and repair
According to the legal regulations only specialists must be entrusted with works on the device.
Do not perform any modifications, add-ons or retrofitting on the device which might affect safety
without prior approval of the manufacturer. Any used spare parts must comply with the technical
requirements determined by the manufacturer. This is always guaranteed if original spare parts
are used.
2. Description
The telescopic multifunction gun is a compressed air operated tool for seam sealing compound
and rubber sealing compound as well as surface coating in the engine compartment and trunk,
wheel housing and underbody area on motor vehicles, coverings, ventilation ducts, etc. using
sprayable sealing compound material delivered in cartridges of 310.
By using a special screw cap it is also possible to use all not sprayable sealing compound
materials. The built-in pressure reducer automatically reduces the system pressure to an
optimum operating pressure of 10 bars in order to process sprayable seam sealing compounds.
Controllers working independent from one another for spray air quantity and material feed allow
infinitely variable fine regulation according to the specific application. The 2-stage trigger
always releases the spray first and then the material feed. The spray air distributes the medium
uniformly on the surface to be coated and provides for optimum adherence without air
inclusions or capillaries. A telescopic cylinder for the material feed guarantees hermetic
separation of the sealing compound material and the compressed air. The cartridge is housed
in a ventilated place to prevent compressed air from penetrating into the cartridge.
2.1 Scope of delivery

2.3 Processing sprayable sealing compounds
* Remove the flanged cap at the rear of the aluminum cartridge.
* Cut off tip of the cartridge or pierce aluminum cartridge at the front.
* Screw multifunction nozzle onto cartridge.
* Place the cartridge into the gun.
* Screw the screw cap (blue, Item 2).
* Completely open spray air regulator (blue adjustment screw and material feed regulator (red
adjustment screw) (turn left up to the stop).
