S Avoid stray fields from transformers, motors and con­
tact switches
To ensure the best EMC protection, the load cell, to­
gether with the connection cable and the subsequent
electronics, should be placed in a shielded housing.
Exception
Load cells with shielded, round cables are EMC‐tested in
accordance with EC directives and identified by CE certi­
fication. But you must make sure that the shield of the
connection cable is connected to the shielding housing of
the electronics.
