2. Battery Installation
Open the battery compartment at the back and insert two AAA-battteries of 1.5V (not included). Respect the polarity
indications on the inside of the battery compartment. Close off the battery compartment.
Do not mix old and new batteries and do not mix ordinary batteries with rechargeable ones.
3. Setting the Clock and the Calendar
Press the MODE button and then the SET button to display the seconds or press MODE twice to select the month.
Press MODE again to display, successively, the day, hours and minutes. Adjust the displayed value by pressing or
holding the SET button. Confirm the entered values with MODE.
Press MODE once in the normal display mode. The display now alternates between the clock and the calendar.
4. Backlight
Press the LIGHT button to engage the backlight.
5. Maintenance
• Protect the device against moisture and dust.
• Do not shake the device violently and handle it with care.
• Keep the device away from magnetic objects.
• Every electromagnetic field of min. 8kV will cause the device to malfunction and will force you to reinstall the
batteries.
• Remove the batteries immediately when they're exhausted and when the device is not to be used for a prolonged
period.
• Respect your local and national laws when disposing of the exhausted batteries.
• Place the clock on a perfectly level surface to keep the pendulum from hitting the sides of the housing.
