6 Safety instructions
- Only use in a sealed enclosure.
- When installing the device, observe the safety
measures to EN 60 335.
- Protection category II can only be achieved with
professional installation.
- Observe the general safety provisions and reg-
ulations.
- Observe the operating instructions.
- Observe the safety instructions for enclosure in-
stallation.
- The work must only be carried out by trained,
authorised personnel.
- Before making any changes to or in the
enclosure (e.g. a different installation site or in-
stallation of new components), it is vital to read
the Rittal assembly instructions (plant docu-
mentation).
- Each time before opening the device,
disconnect it from the power supply and secure
it against being switched back on unintention-
ally.
- Changes to the set values of the device may be
made only by properly trained, authorised indi-
viduals.
- Do not lay sensors parallel to other cables. In-
terference may lead to malfunctions in the con-
troller.
- It is essential to set the minimum speed with P2
in a way which ensures that the fan will operate
safely under all conditions, such as undervolt-
age, max. temperature etc.
- Observe the operating temperature range (see
"5 Technical specifications").

8 Guarantee
This unit is covered by a 1-year guarantee from
the date of supply, subject to correct use.
In the case of incorrect use or connection, the
guarantee of the manufacturer expires. No liability
is accepted for damage arising in such cases.
