Cleaning of the surface
Risk of electric shock! Please separate the
extractor hood from the power supply
network by pulling the plug or the
disconnection of the fuse. Please pay
attention to the fact that no water seeps into
the appliance during the cleaning process.
Untimely cleaning of the surface saves later
a troublesome removing of stubborn soiling.
For the cleaning use only commercial
detergent or all-purpose cleaners which are
suitable for stainless steel / aluminium.
Please do not use scouring agents or steel
wool! After the cleaning of the extractor hood
please tend the stainless steel surfaces with
a high-grade steel-care product.
Only with a light soapy water and a very soft
cloth varnished surfaces have to be cleaned.
Please clean the switch panel only with a
soft and damp-dry cloth.
By extractor hoods with a glass pane
beneath the metal grease filter ("Perimeter
Extraction") fatty deposits can occur on the
edge of the glass pane. These deposits are
founded physically and represent no
dysfunction of the extractor hood. Please
clean the glass pane beneath the filter
regularly to prevent stubborn soiling.

Risk of Fire! The performance of the exhaust
hood is affected by greasy debris; the risk of
fire increases with the amount of deposits.
In order to avoid the risk of fire, be absolutely
certain to regular clean the metal filter (see
„Clean Filter Alert"). Clean the filter in a 14
day rhythm, at the latest. To do so, take the
glass pane + metal filter in both hands and
turn in a counter clockwise manner to
release the bayonet seal of the filter. Loosen
the safety chain and the glass pane, along
with the metal filter, can now be removed
from below. The glass pane with the metal
filter is best cleaned in a dishwasher with
gentle dishwasher detergent.
The manufacturer offers no guarantee in the
event of possible discoloration through the
use of aggressive cleaning products.
Temperatures above 65 degrees should
also be avoided.

Attention: Please do not use any 3 phase
cleaners or clean the filter in a commercial
dishwasher. Cleaning with aggressive
products such as benzene, acetone,
trichloroethylene, et cetera will lead to the
destruction of the filter!
Replace the metal filter after cleaning and
rotate it clockwise with both hands.
Changing Lamps
Disconnect the exhaust hood from the po-
wer supply! The lamp will remain hot for
some time. Please wait until it has cooled
down before changing it.
