Ash filter
Original operating instructions
4. Proper use
The ash filter can be used together with a wet and
dry vacuum cleaner (not included), for vacuuming
cold ash or material from ovens, fireplaces or
barbecues.
The equipment is to be used only for its prescribed
purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a case of
misuse. The user / operator and not the
manufacturer will be liable for any damage or injuries
of any kind caused as a result of this.
Please note that our equipment has not been
designed for use in commercial, trade or industrial
applications. Our warranty will be voided if the
machine is used in commercial, trade or industrial
businesses or for equivalent purposes.

6. Assembly and operation (Fig. 1-3)
Note the safety information and the operating
instructions issued for the wet and dry vacuum
cleaner used (the vacuum cleaner is not included
in the delivery).
Plug the suction tube (5) onto the end of the
suction hose (4).
Plug the suction hose (4) into the connection (6)
and fasten it by turning.
For good cleaning of the exhaust air from your
wet and dry vacuum cleaner always use a dirt
bag and an additional pleated filter.
Plug the suction hose (8) of the wet and dry
vacuum cleaner into the connection (7).
Switch on the wet and dry vacuum cleaner (9)
and start with the vacuum cleaning.
Each time after use: Empty the ash filter, check
the wet and dry vacuum cleaner for overheating
(risk of fire) and replace the dust bag.

7.1 Maintenance and cleaning
Completely empty the ash filter container each
time you have finished using it. If necessary,
clean with water and then dry.
Do not use cleaning agents or solvents; these
could attack the plastic parts of the equipment.
Also, never use combustible cleaning agents.
Replace the dirt bag in accordance with the
operating instructions issued for the vacuum
cleaner.

8. Disposal and recycling
The unit is supplied in packaging to prevent its being
damaged in transit. This packaging is raw material
and can therefore be reused or can be returned to
the raw material system.
