• Keep all persons and pets away from the
snow thrower area.
• Never stand or work around or near the auger
while the engine is running. Your feet may be
caught in the auger when the auger is
accidentally started, increasing the risk of serious
personal injury.
• A hot exhaust system can cause serious burns.
Avoid contact if the engine has been running.
• Gasoline is extremely flammable and is explosive
under certain conditions.
• Do not smoke or allow flames or sparks in the
area where the snow thrower is refueled or
where gasoline is stored.
• Do not overfill the fuel tank, and make sure the
fuel tank cap is closed securely after refueling.
• Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine
stopped.
• Keep flames and sparks away from the batteries.
Batteries produce explosive gas that can cause an
explosion.
