4.1 Installation of the induction charging device
• Carefully push the ventilation grille clamp onto the open panels of the ventilation grille
until it locks into place.
Note
Before setting a device in the holder, check that the panels are sturdy enough to bear the
weight. We recommend against using this model for terminal devices heavier than 300 g.
• To remove the holder, carefully pull it out of the ventilation grille.
4.2 Getting started with the induction charging device
• Plug the charger into a car socket in the vehicle electrical system. (A)
• Connect the included Micro-USB cable to the Micro-USB input on the induction charger
and the USB port of the vehicle charger.
• When the power supply is active, the status LED lights up.
4.3 Installation using the adhesive pad
• Place the adhesive pad on the induction charging device with the 3M adhesive side
toward the front. (B) (The adhesive pad is held in place by magnetic attraction.)
• Then place your smartphone on the adhesive pad and wait until an effective induction
field forms. (C)
• Use the adhesive fixing aid tabs (white) that protrude on the left and right to fix the
adhesive pad in place by folding the tabs over and sticking them to the front of the
phone. (D)
• Now you can carefully remove your smartphone with the adhesive pad from the induction
charger.
• If the adhesive pad overlaps the camera (up to 4 mm), then you may correct this. Then try
again to see if a connection is made.
• Remove the protective foil from the bottom of the adhesive side of the adhesive pad and
press the pad onto the desired surface (for example, the rear of your mobile phone) for a
few seconds. (E) Repeat the process for the top of the pad.
• To check whether the adhesive pad is correctly attached, place your phone on the
induction charger and verify that the magnet sticks.
• Charging starts as soon as an effective induction field has been generated. The status LED
is now red. The current charging status appears on your terminal device.
• Once you have successfully attached the adhesive pad, you may remove the adhesive
fixing aid.
