Electrical connection

Electrical connection must be carried out by an electrician authorised by the local
energy supply company and in accordance with the applicable local regulations
[e.g. VDE regulations].

Before installation and electrical connection, disconnect the system/switch cab-
inet from the power supply!
NOTICE
A separate power supply unit with the respective output power is required for the
power supply of the Wilo-Smart Gateway with 24 V DC SELV.

Strip 5 – 6 mm off the power supply's wire ends from the power supply unit.
Connect the 24 V DC SELV power supply from the power supply unit.
For connecting digital input and output signals
Will only be supported in future software versions.
Digital input 1, 24 V (IEC 61131-2, Type 1)
Digital input 2, 24 V (IEC 61131-2, Type 1)
Ground for digital inputs
Digital open collector output, 500 mA, max. 36 V (utilisation category DC 13)
Ground for digital output
Digital inputs and outputs for future function developments. The digital out-
put is designed for a maximum current carrying capacity of 500 mA and a
maximum nominal switching voltage of 36 V. Out 1 can be used to switch in-
ductive loads (e.g. relays).
