( Frequently asked questions )
Which is the required supply voltage for the operation of the E-Fittings?
The input voltage can range from 100-240V; world-wide use of the E-Fittings is
thus assured.
What happens in case of a power blackout?
In concept of an emergency function in the case of an electricity failure, the
cabinet doors can be opened and closed by hand. Once that the power supply is
reconnected, the system can be restarted by pressing on the push button.
The first opening and closing sequence will however be carried out as learning
cycle, during which the respective end positions are determined.
Is it always necessary to place the push button on the cabinet?
It suffices to place the push button in close proximity to the cabinet equipped with
an E-Fitting.
Is there a risk of injury by the electrically operated doors?
The system is programmed in such a way that the motors are switched off
immediately when an obstacle is being recognized during the opening or closing
trajectory.
Does the system require readjustments or the application of lubricant?
Given that installation and adjustment are carried out in a correct way,
the E-Fittings are maintenance-free for the final customer.
What do I do when the system is inoperative?
The possible causes for the malfunction of a system should first of all be reviewed
on the basis of the incident descriptions and corresponding remedy actions listed
in the User Manual. Only if the malfunction cannot be corrected on this way, the
supplier resp. the manufacturer of the cabinet is to be informed, who in turn will
make all further necessary arrangements in consultation with Titus+.
