ADVICE ON FOIL PLACEMENT AND ADJUSTMENT
TUTTLE BOARDFOIL MOUNT (OPTION)
Front
Once the Foil is assembled proceed with its installation
to the Board. Turn your Board over and be sure to
have it on a debris free surface and protect the nose
and tail. Insert the Mast head into the Tuttle Box on
the Board. Push down, with controlled force, so the
head slides into the Box. It is completely normal for
one to have to use force while inserting the Mast into
the Box. In fact the fit is made to be extremely tight for
better navigational performance and pleasure, and
there should not be any play between the two.
While you are pushing down with controlled force it is
advisable slide it back and forth to help the insertion
of the Foil.

The US Boxes are placed so that the Foils are in the
optimal position in the centre of the US Boxes.
- further forward : the Foil rises earlier and you
need more pressure over the front foot, the Foil is
more manageable.
- further back : the Foil is easier to control but less
maneuverable and flies later.
To start with it is best to move the Foil backwards
and forwards little by little to find the optimal setting.
- Insert the Tuttle in the mast and fix it into place with
the 3 M6-35 mm screws.
- Close tightly.
Turn the Board back over and onto the Foil gently.
Find the Insert Screw Holes for the Tuttle Box.
Use the Two larger Screws provided to you to secure
the connection of the Board and Foil, and do not
forget to use the Washer, and Cupped Washer for
the installation. Close Tightly.
Verify all screws before use.
Your Foil is ready to use.
