Fitting the GSE to the
one-cylinder gas system
Fig. A
Fit the gas remote switch (1) be-
tween the gas pressure regula-
tion system (8) and gas hose (2).
Connection 1/4" anticlockwise
male thread.
Fitting GS 8 and GS 10
to the one-cylinder or
two-cylinder gas system
Olive screw connection, 8 mm or
10 mm. Connect the gas remote
switch according to the valid
installation instructions for olive
screw connections (e.g. ISO
8434-1). When tightening, care-
fully use a second spanner on
the provided spanner surfaces to
keep the entire assembly from
turning.

Figs. B + C:
The gas remote switch (1) is fitted
between the gas hose (2) and the
gas line (3 - Fig. B) or between
the gas line (3) and the gas pres-
sure regulation system (5 - Fig. C).
If necessary, shorten the gas pipe
with a suitable pipe cutter – not
a saw.
After cutting, the gas pipe
must be deburred and it
must have the full pipe diameter.
Electrical connection
Lay the connector cable (6) of the
gas remote switch e.g. with insu-
lation tape parallel to the gas sup-
ply line (figures, page 2: 3) and
inwards to the intended location
for the control panel (9). If neces-
sary, extend with a 3 x 0.75 mm²
cable.
The extension connection
must not be made in the
cylinder box!
For the cylinder box wall
lead-through (figures,
page 2: 7), use a rubber bushing
or body sealant. Ensure the wall
lead-through is at least 50 cm
above the bottom of the cylin-
der box.
