This appliance is intended to be used for household and similar applications
such as staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
farmhouses; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential-type
environments; and bed and breakfast-type environments.
WARNING
an earthed (3-prong) plug to reduce the risk of electric shock. Do not defeat the
safety purpose of the plug by modifying it in any way or by using an adapter. If
the plug does not fit into the electric socket, a qualified electrician should replace
the electric socket.
The length of the lead used on this appliance was selected to reduce the
hazards of becoming tangled in or tripping over a longer lead. If a longer lead is
necessary, an approved extension lead may be used. The electrical rating of the
extension lead must be equal to or greater than the rating of the appliance. Care
must be taken to arrange the extension lead so that it does not hang over the
edge of the countertop or tabletop where it could be pulled on by children or
accidentally tripped over.
