7 - SPARE PARTS AND PRE-FILTERING
The appliance requires non-optional active carbon pre-filtering. Use only
material supplied or approved by the manufacturer . Failure to install pre-
filtering or the use of unapproved components makes the warranty null and void.
Approved pre-filtering:
EVERPURE 4CB5 filter cartridge
ST2130 modular system
8 - MAINTENANCE
For any technical-operational requirement, contact your suppliers' Technical Assistance
Service.
The system works fully automatically and requires very little maintenance.
Replacing inside pre-filter
•
Pre-filters must be replaced every 6 months or when indicated by the board. Replace-
ment methods vary based on the filter and the circuit used.
Membrane replacement procedure:
•
Disconnect power by unplugging the appliance.
•
Remove the caps with a pair of pliers. Leakage of a small amount of water inside the
vessels is inevitable.
•
Prepare a suitable collection container underneath the system.
•
Insert the new membranes, check that the O-Rings are positioned properly and mount
the vessel caps.
•
Carefully check that there are no water leaks.
•
To restart the device, follow the procedure shown in points: "activation" (sect. 3)and
"sanitizing" (sect. 6).
•
Check that there are no signs of water at the bottom.
Sanitizing
When indicated in the table in chapter 5, the hydraulic circuit needs to be sanitized. The unit
can be sanitized by using a sodium hypochlorite solution that can be dosed in approximately
1-2 ppm. The value of the free chlorine can easily be measured with the chlorometric kits
found on the market.
