3 - SAFETY
The electrical safety of this appliance is only guaranteed when connected to an
electric system equipped with an efficient grounding system and residual current
device according to legal standards.
Verification of this essential safety requirement is mandatory. If in doubt, request
the assistance of a qualified technician.
Like for any appliance connected to the electric system, the OC-600 and OC-750
requires the observance of some fundamental safety standards:
•
do not touch the unit with wet or moist hands or feet
•
do not plug or unplug the appliance with wet hands
•
do not pull the cord to unplug the appliance
•
do not leave the unit exposed to atmospheric agents
•
do not allow children to use the unit unattended
•
unplug the unit before performing any cleaning or maintenance operation
•
switch the unit off and do not tamper with it in case of failures or
malfunctioning. Contact an authorised technician for any type of intervention.
When an authorised technician replaces parts of the osmotizer for maintenance
or failures, make sure that these parts comply with standards in force.
PWG will not be held liable for any inaccuracies in this instruction booklet
ascribable to printing or transcription errors.
PWG reserves the right to make any changes useful or necessary for the device
without jeopardizing its essential features.
4 - STORAGE
The packaged appliance must be stored in a dry, condensation-free environment,
shel- tered from the elements. The allowed temperature ranges from 0-50°. You
must be well aware that, though carefully packed and protected, the system must
be considered and handled as fragile material. Upon reception of the appliance,
open the packaging and check its integrity. Immediately notify the carrier in case
of damage.
