6 - INSTALLATION
Installation must be performed up to standard, in particular in compliance with this
manual, with DL25 of 7 February 2012 and, where pertinent, in compliance with the
provisions foreseen by DM 37 of 22 January 2008.
The device is designed for household installation and not outdoors, in a hygienically
suitable place, protected from freezing. It must also be connected to the electric
mains according to standards and to a drinking water mains according to standards,
while respecting the technical features provided in chapter 2.

The membranes are preserved in a bacteriostatic fluid. Therefore do
not use the initial water produced by a new system or when the osmotic
membrane has been replaced, but let it run for two 10 minute cycles,
with a 5 minute stop between one and the other.
•
A pre-filter must be used for well, cistern and surface waters.
•
Installations, repairs, interventions or changes must be carried out by
authorised personnel.
Before proceeding with installation, make sure there is sufficient space to:

Conveniently make the hydraulic connections
•
Easily extract spare parts
•
Perform maintenance.
Make sure there is a socket in the immediate vicinity of the appliance.

Hydraulic connection:
Perform the hydraulic connections according to
the writing on the unit: "IN" indicating the arrival of
drinking water; "OUT" indicating osmose water to
be sent to be drawn; "DRAIN" indicating the water
outlet sent to be drained.
Feed the unit with a John Guest tube with a minimum
outside diameter of 10mm. If the supply route is longer
than 3 m, use a tube with a larger cross-section.
Connect the dispensing circuit with a John Guest tube
with the proper cross-section.
