Use

7.1

Starting up the unit

Before starting work, remove the cover of the laser exit window.
Release compensator lock. To do this, turn the locking device ring (main switch ON/OFF) from
position
to position . The unit is ready to use.
Set up the unit according to the intended use. Ensure that the levelling range of 3° is not ex-
ceeded, if necessary, mount the unit onto the mini tripod and fix using 5/8" thread.
When you have finished using the unit, lock the compensator. To do this, turn the locking device
ring into position . The unit is switched off. Replace the cover of the laser exit window.
Return compensator locking device ring (main switch ON/OFF) into position
finishing work.
7.2

Self-levelling function

The CrossLiner 4 is self-levelling. If the
unit is placed in a slanted position of up to
3° in any direction, the laser beams are
plumb and horizontal.
If the 3° range is exceeded, the projected
laser line and the laser dot flash.
7.3

Operation

Danger!
Never look into the laser beam!
Never direct the laser beam at people or animals!
Start up the CrossLiner 4 (see chapter 7.1)
Switch horizontal beam (H) (see chapter 3.1 Function) on / off using "H" button.
Switch vertical beam (V

The plumb bean (L) (see chapter 3.1 Function) is switched on and off by pressing the "H", "V
