■ Disconnecting the dock cable
1. Make sure the power of the dock-
compatible audio component is
turned off.
2. Press and hold the release button
and then pull off the plug of the dock
cable.
Note
Disconnecting the dock connection cable
while the dock-compatible audio
component's power is on could result in
damage.

■ Troubleshooting
Refer to the items listed below when this
unit does not function properly.
• Make sure the Mode switch is set
appropriately for the Yamaha dock-
compatible audio component you've
connected to the YDS-12.
• Connect your iPod to this unit firmly.
• Connect the dock cable to the dock-
compatible audio component firmly.
• Connect the dock cable to this unit firmly.
• Update the software of your iPod to the
latest version.
If the instructions above do not help, refer to
the instructions of your iPod or dock-
compatible audio component.
