10. Replacing the Battery
Depending on the frequency of use and the battery type,
batteries allow a service life of up to 2 years. A weak battery
set is indicated by a lower volume, a distorted audio playback
and an increasingly slower gong melody.
If you note these signals replace the whole battery set (battery
type baby, C, LR14).
We recommend to use high-quality alkaline
batteries.
Make sure that the polarity is correct when inserting the
batteries (pay attention to plus and minus).
If the batteries have been replaced, the radio gong
is to be addressed anew. The correct way of doing
this is described in chapter 8.
