Cleaning small items
With screen insert
Notes
• Smaller items in particular can be mo-
ved around by the ultrasonic excitation
and thus become scratched.
• Use the screen insert [3]. Doing so will
prevent potential vibrations.
• The screen insert slightly reduces the
cleaning power.
• Start the cleaning, see Cleaning
items.Cleaning items
Wristwatches
Important
• The cleaning process can cause water
to enter into the watch and damage it.
• Use the unit to clean only waterproof
watches that are guaranteed water-
proof to a depth of 30 m. Follow the in-
structions of the watch manufacturer.
• As watches get older, they frequently
become less waterproof. Have your
watch tested for watertightness before
you clean it using the unit.
• Ensure that the watch is positioned si-
deways in order to prevent scratches on
the glass.
• Start the cleaning, see Cleaning items.
Cleaning larger items
You can also use the unit to clean larger
items.
Important
• Do not touch or hold the item during
cleaning.
• For larger items, ensure that the unit is
secured against tipping.
• Always place the item partially into the
container [2].
• Start the cleaning, see Cleaning items.
Intensive cleaning
For intensive cleaning, for example of
heavily soiled items, repeat the cleaning
process several times, but no more than
three times in a row.
Allow the unit to cool down for approx. 5
minutes before using it again.
Notes
• In this case, replace the cleaning fluid
before each additional cleaning proc-
ess.
