The internally or externally generated frequency is displayed.
Indicates the frequency is in MHz.
Indicates the frequency is in KHz.
Indicates the frequency is in Hz.
Lights up when the frequency is beyond the selected range.
This indicator flashes when the counter is working.
Can be used to select a frequency range in combination with the FREQUENCY
rotary controls (11).
To select the output waveform. Select a positive/negative ramp or pulse with the
push/pull rotary knob RAMP/PULSE (12).
Press this button for 30dB attenuation (released, there is no attenuation = 0dB).
on/off switch.
Used in combination with the RANGE-switches (7) to select the output frequency.
When the knob is pulled, the symmetry is adjustable and the slope of the ramp and
the duty cycle of the pulse can also be adjusted. If not, the waveform is symmetrical.
Use this knob to adjust the output amplitude.
With this knob in the pulled-out position you can set the DC voltage of any waveform
by turning it clockwise (+) or counterclockwise (-). The DC voltage is 0 when the
knob is pressed down.
The output waveform is a TTL pulse that can be used as a synchronising signal.
This input is used to control the frequency through an external source.
This jack sends out the signal of
the selected waveform in the
selected frequency range. The
output impedance is 50Ω.
When the button is pressed, the
device measures an external
frequency. When it is released,
the device measures the internal
frequency.
