AUTOMATIC DEFROSTING
There is no need to defrost the refrigerator, because
ice depositing on the inner back wall is defrosted
automatically.
Ice build-up on the inner back wall during the com-
pressor operation will defrost automatically (when
the compressor has cycled off.) Defrost water col-
lects inside the drain trough passing through the
drain outlet in the inner back wall into a drain pan
situated above the compressor, from where it
evaporates.
CLEANING THE APPLIANCE
Disconnect the power before cleaning the appliance.
Do not use coarse or abrasive cleaning agents as
you can damage the surface.
Clean the exterior with water and detergent.
Remove the detachable accessories in the interior of
the appliance and clean with water and liquid
detergent. Plastic parts cannot be washed in
dishwashers.
Wash the interior of the appliance with lukewarm
water, adding one or two spoonfuls of vinegar.
After cleaning, connect the appliance to power
supply and reload it.
SWITCH OFF APPLIANCE WHEN NOT IN USE
If you do not intend to use the appliance for long
periods of time, (vacations) set the thermostat knob
to STOP (0) position, disconnect the power supply,
take out the foods and defrost and clean the appli-
ance. Leave the door slightly open.
POWER FAILURE
Most power failures are corrected within an hour or
two and will not affect your refrigerator tempera-
tures. However, you should minimize the number of
door openings while the power is off. During power
failures of longer duration, take steps to protect
your food by placing dry ice on top of packages.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

IF YOU MOVE
Remove or securely fasten all loose items inside the
unit. To avoid damaging the leveling legs, turn them
all the way into the base.
Some Important Rules for the Correct Use of the
Refrigerator
• Never place hot foods in the refrigerator.
• Never place spoiled foods in the refrigerator.
• Don't overload the refrigerator.
• Don't open the door unless necessary.
• Should the refrigerator be stored without use
for long periods, it is suggested, after a careful
cleaning, to leave the door ajar to allow the air
to circulate inside the unit in order to avoid
possible formations of condensation, mold
or odors.
