POWER
Choose the AC adapter or battery operation (you may use either or both). Plug
the adapter into the nearest wall socket. The power jack is on the right side of
the unit in the corner closest to the wall or backsplash. If you are fixing the cord
to the underside of the cabinet be sure that there is enough slack to unplug the
power jack if necessary.
For battery operation, gently pull the faceplate down to remove. Load 4 "D" cell
batteries in the slot with all positive ends to the left. Replace faceplate (Images
4-5). Depending on the front facia of the cabinet, it may be necessary to remove
the dispenser from the bracket to access battery compartment.
LOADING & SETTING TOWEL LENGTH
Grasp the handle and squeeze to unlatch the paper towel compartment. A Red
light will illuminate while the door is open (Image 6). At this point, the towel
memory has been cleared and the INNOVIA Dispenser is ready to be set.
1.
Place paper towel roll in compartment leaving a portion of a towel exposed
below the front edge of the door (Image 7).
2.
Close and latch compartment. Red light will turn off at this time.
3.
After a 3 second delay, the INNOVIA Dispenser will retract the exposed
portion of towel.
4.
Wave hand in front of the sensor to dispense towel.
5.
Tear off the desired amount of towel at the perforation (Image 8).
6.
The INNOVIA Dispenser will then retract the exposed towel.
At this point, the INNOVIA Dispenser has learned the desired length and
is ready for use.
GENERAL OPERATION
•
For a single towel, wave hand in front of sensor.
•
For multiple towels, place and hold hand in front of sensor until desired
amount
of towel has been dispensed (will dispense up to 5 of the set lengths).
•
If towels are not taken, the INNOVIA Dispenser will retract the unused towels.
•
Red light indicates that the INNOVIA Dispenser is out of towels or the unit
needs to be reset.
