Transport

The batteries in the device are subject to the provisions of hazardous goods law. The
batteries can be transported on the road by users without any further conditions.
If they are shipped by third parties (e.g.: air transport or carrier), special requirements
for packaging and labelling must be noted. A hazardous goods expert must be consulted
when preparing the item for shipment.

Disposal

Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally friendly manner so that
it can be recycled.
The battery should be removed prior to disposal of the device and disposed of
separately from the device. To protect the environment, non-rechargeable and
rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with normal household waste, but
must be taken to suitable collection points.
The device is governed by the European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electri-
cal and electronic equipment (WEEE). Do not dispose of the device as normal
domestic waste, but rather in an environmentally friendly manner via an offi cially
approved waste disposal company.
