j) If the colour of the skin changes on the hand with which you are holding
the device, stop using the device immediately! Persistent use could result in
hand-arm vibration syndrome.
k) Make sure that the connected mains cable does not present a trip hazard.
Otherwise there is a danger of tripping.
l) Always check the charging station, the mains cable and the mains adapter
for damage before putting them into operation. If you fi nd any damage or
wear, do not use them to prevent injuries.
m) Any replacement or repair of the charging station, the plug / mains adapter
or the mains connecting cable must always be performed by the manufac-
turer of the power tool or its customer service department. This will ensure
that the safety of these components is maintained.
n) Keep the charging station and the mains adapter which is connected to
the mains power away from highly fl ammable materials (e.g. paper, tex-
tiles etc.). There is a danger of fi re as a result of the heat which emerges during
charging of the charging station and the mains adapter.
o) Do not cover the power tool and accessories during operation. Make sure
that the ventilation slots of the power tool are free of any contamination
and are not covered during use to prevent the risk of fi re.
p) Remove the mains adapter from the plug socket if a fault occurs or before
a thunderstorm. Do not use the mains adapter if it has malfunctioned or
been dropped in water. Otherwise there is a danger of electric shock.
q) Only use and store the power tool, the charging station, the mains adapter
and the mains cable in an ambient temperature of from 0°C to 40°C. This
will ensure that the safety of these components is maintained.
r) Protect the power tool from heat, e.g. also from persistent sunlight, fi re,
water and moisture. There is a risk of explosion.
s) Do not use any additional accessories not recommended by the manufacturer.
t) Do not lay or place any heavy objects on the device.
u) Make sure that the cable does not become squashed or bent and does not come
into contact with sharp edges or hot surfaces.
