5. Initial Setup

5.1 Cleaning
The SQuape N[duro] has been thoroughly
cleaned before dispatch.
We still advise that you to rinse all parts with
tepid water before first use and regularly af-
terwards. Please make sure all parts are well
dried before use. The SQuape N[duro] is
suitable for ultrasonic baths.
CAUTION:
N[duro] as long as parts are still wet or hu-
mid. Water can lead to short circuits and/or
other malfunctions. Allow the unit to air dry
thoroughly after cleaning.
***Before the first use it is necessary to
install the enclosed Closing Ring (see atta-
ched leaflet). We also suggest to grease the
o-rings with pure VG (vegetable glycerin)
after each thorough cleaning.
5.2 Switching between the three positions
«closed», «remove» and «vape» O / | /
The marking on the base indicates the cor-
rect position for removing or mounting the
tank. You can adjust your position using the
mark on the edge of the base. Please make
sure that you turn the tank and not the top
cap. By turning the tank clockwise or coun-
terclockwise you can switch between the
positions by sliding the symbols on the tank
over the mark on the edge of the base. The
symbols have the following meanings:
| = «remove»: the tank can be mounted or
removed. The tank is locked and therefore

 = «vape»: within this symbol the air flow
increases or decreases according to the
position. The liquid control is open and the
cotton / coil is moistened.
O = «closed»: the tank sits firmly on the
base, but is fully locked and cannot leak. In
SQuape this condition the tank can be filled.
If you have difficulty separating the tank
from the base, we recommend that you
screw the atomiser onto a mod or a coil
base. As soon as the atomiser is firmly
screwed on, the individual positions can be
easily adjusted.
