Before operating the device
• Check the device and its power cord carefully for any damage before each
use. The device should not be used if it is in any way defective.
• Do not use the device if there is any visible damage to the device itself or
to the power cord, if the device is not working flawlessly or if it has been
dropped or has fallen into water. To avoid any risk of injury send the device
to the service point to be repaired.
Operating the device
• The device is intended for private use only and should not be employed for
commercial purposes.
• Use the massage device only for the purpose specified in the instructions for use.
• The guarantee is invalidated if the device is misused.
• On no account use any device accessories which are not expressly designed
for the purpose by the manufacturer.
• While using the red light function, do not place the massager on the same part
of the body for too long (max. 1 minute), as this could cause skin rashes or
burns.
• Keep the device away from rain and damp. It should not be operated out-
doors.
• It is vital to avoid placing, using or storing the device above containers
holding liquids, particularly where the device could fall or be knocked into a
bathtub or shower tray.
• Do not use the device in the vicinity of aerosol vapour or at the same time
as an oxygen device.
• Do not fall asleep while using the massager on yourself. Using the massager in
the same place for a long time can cause complaints and burns.
• Do not use the device underneath bedding or cushions. Under no circum-
stances should you cover the device during use.
• Do not use the device for more than twenty minutes at a time, and allow
it to cool down for about thirty minutes before using it again.
• Avoid using the device directly on the head, bones or joints, on the front of
the throat, in the genital area or around the kidneys.
• It is best not to use this device directly before retiring - the massage that it
delivers has a stimulating effect and may delay sleep.
• For understandable reasons, the manufacturer cannot bear the costs of any
damage that may result from non-compliance with the instructions for use.
Concerning maintenance and cleaning
• You the user should not carry out any work on the device, except for
cleaning. To avoid possible injury, do not attempt to repair the device
yourself. Contact the service point for all repairs.
• Before cleaning the device, switch it off, unplug it from the socket, and allow
it to cool. Never immerse the device in water or other liquids.
• Read the information in the section "Miscellaneous, 4.1 Cleaning and main-
tenance" on page 15.
• If a defect occurs, do not repair the device yourself. This would automati-
cally invalidate the guarantee. The service point alone should be charged
with any repair work.
