Changes to the machine

Risk of serious personal injury and property damage and even death due to subsequent and
unauthorised changes to the pottery wheel.
4.3.
Reasonably foreseeable misuse
Reasonably foreseeable misuse includes:
Operation by insufficiently trained and qualified personnel
Letting clay or water damage electrical or mechanical components of the machine
Use of unapproved spare and wear parts
Exceeding the maximum designed weights
Use of unsuitable pottery (material type, weight and volume)
Failure to comply with the recommended maintenance intervals or improper maintenance
Necessary repairs or maintenance are not carried out.
Necessary cleaning work is not carried out.
Use of non-approved cleaning agents
Use for training and education purposes without permanent and sufficient supervision by trained and qualified
personnel
Use in care facilities for children, adolescents or disabled people without permanent and adequate supervision
by trained and qualified staff
Extending the power cable with an extension cable
Using the machine as a step or climbing aid
Placing objects of any kind (everything except ceramic clay) on the turntable and putting the machine into
operation

Starting up
Plug the power cord into the pottery wheel.

Plug the foot pedal into the pottery wheel.

Put the foot pedal into the OFF position.

Set the selector switch for the direction of rotation to neutral.

Plug the power cord into the socket (extension cords are not permitted).

Switch on the machine with the green button.

Select the desired direction of rotation with the selector switch.
Operate the foot pedal.

The machine starts up.
Shutting down

Put the foot pedal into the OFF position.

Machine stops.
Set the selector switch for the direction of rotation to neutral.

Switch off the machine with the red button.
Pull out the power plug.

Please note that changes to the machine that do not correspond to the delivery state
and were not subsequently carried out by the manufacturer are not permitted.
