8.1.1 Additional storage functions of the TMI-300
In the case of instruments of the TMI-300 series, several peak-values of successive measurements of the same
test object can be stored in the mode of storing peak-values of CW rotations. This function provides for an easy
testing of lids with tear-away strip.
1st
Up to 1000 single peak-values can be stored. The maximum, minimum, average, standard deviation,
differences, upper and lower threshold of all of the saved values will be detected.
nd
2
Two peak-values are stored and detected independently from each other.
3rd
Three peak-values are stored and detected independently from each other.
Please set the storage function as follows:
Switch the instrument off.
Keep the Reset-button pressed while switching the instrument on.
The display shows F01 now.
Press the Mode-button to choose ,1st', ,2nd' or ,3rd'.
8.2 Recalling stored data
In the mode of peak-value display, stored data can be recalled by simply pressing the Recall-button. You are able
to recall the values in turn, namely starting with the last measured value, (TMI-300), or to switch between the
single values (CNT), the average value (AVERAGE), the maximum (MAX) and minimum (MIN) value.
You can return to the main menue and continue to make measurements by pressing the Mode-button.
8.3 Deleting a single measurement value
Please proceed as follows to delete a single measured value:
Press the Mode-button to get to the mode of measurement, of which you wish to delete stored values.
Press the Recall-key now; the last measured value will appear on the display.
Please press the Reset-key to delete this value. Once deleted, the display will show "CLr".
You may delete values backwards only, i.e. starting from the last measured value. Selective deletion is not
possible.
8.4 Deleting the entire data storage
Please proceed as follows to delete the instrument`s complete data storage:
Switch the instrument off.
Keep the Mem-button pressed while switching the instrument on, and keep the button pressed until ‚nonE'
is shown in the display. The storage will be entirely cleared then.
9.0 Data transfer
Measured data can be transferred by means of analogue and digital outputs. There is a USB interface to be found
at the rear side of both TMI-200 and TMI-300. The coherent cable is included in the scope of delivery.
9.1 USB interface
Please install the optionally available software Tmi_Connect, order no. TMI-972, for data transmission via USB
interface. With this Excel Add-In, you may transfer measured results and stored values to Microsoft Excel and
continue to process them there.
Please do not keep the USB cable connected to the instrument for long time. Even though the instrument is
switched off it still may consume energy.
9.2 Hirose Socket, only TMI-300
