4. Modeling light
Switch (2) of the generator controls the
halogen modeling light of all flash units.
Green LED of switch (2) lit:
Halogen light ON, green LED off:
Halogen light OFF.
The halogen light can be controlled propor-
tionally to the flash output selected using the
controls (4) and (6).
To check the halogen light, this can be
separately switched on or off with switch
(31) of the flash unit. In this case, switch (2)
of the generator must be in the ON position.

100% modeling light / switch (3):
Depression of switch (3) will set to 100% the
halogen modeling light of all flash units
connected and ready to fire, regardless of
the position of controls (4) and (6).
Green LED of switch lit: 100% halogen,
green LED not lit:proportional halogen light.
5. Optical firing monitor
The Magnolux generators have an optical fi-
ring monitor. This is turned ON (green LED lit)
and OFF (green LED NOT lit) with switch (9).
